Standing out
Kieron Forde-Thain, 5, with mum Amanda. Kieron suffers from a type of cerebral palsy known as Periventricular Leukomalacia, which made it impossible for him to use his legs in any meaningful way – but after travelling to the US for an operation, he’s now for the first time able to stand on them, and even take a few steps. For Kieron and his family it’s just the beginning of a process that will – with a lot of hard work – help Kieron live a more normal life in spite of his condition.
You can view the article, with a bit more detail on Kieron’s story, in the Trafford Advertiser here.
