Panto is a venerable yet wonderfully stupid British tradition that everyone should experience. It’s a tough genre to excel in, straddling (haw haw) the bawdy, the fun and the absurd, and it couldn’t be better exemplified than in Eric Potts, writer, director and the grandest of dames.
