Phil Tragen is based in Manchester, and provides vibrant, high quality portrait, corporate and commercial photography throughout the UK. He began working in local and regional news in 2007, and now has a client base ranging from local SMEs to global blue chip companies.

No matter the brief, he always aims for images that he and his clients can be proud of.

Phil is a people person and is often engaged in personal portrait projects. He was top 5 shortlisted in the Spotlight Awards for his portrait of an end of life carer. He’s also appeared in national press for his work at Princes Road Synagogue, a series about a 150 year old institution and the volunteers who look after it.

He enjoys talking about the photography process and has hosted workshops, appeared on panels, and produces reels on his Instagram communicating this enthusiasm to the world.
